Save Our River
Please read the attached petition asking the Laredo City Council to deny easement for a road in the bend of the river near downtown Laredo.  This road, constructed in 1998, has been impassable for most of its 10 year history.  It has resulted in the erosion of millions of tons of top soil into the Rio Grande, our major water resource.  
 
The road has been repaired numerous times, but is still impassalbe.  Please ask the city council to vote against this easement.  We should show the federal government that we are serious about our way of life here in Laredo.
