To the editor:
I am amazed that Henri D. Kahn learned so little during
11 years in a church school. If the Ten Commandments
were all we had to obey think of how much paper would
be saved in printing Bibles. Is he aware that Deuteronomy
isn't the only book that deals with those commandments?
(Theoretically Christians do not keep the Ten Commandments
as a whole because "remember the Sabbath Day
to keep it holy" is not repeated in the New Testament.
The other nine are contained in the NT because they
are principles of God.)
If he had bothered to look further he could have found
Leviticus 18:22 that clearly states that man is not
to lie with a man as with a woman because it is an
abomination.
To quote an acquaintance: "What part of abomination
does he not understand?"
