| Introducing
General Wesley K. Clark, Ret.
By
Henri D. Kahn
Wesley
K. Clark, four-star general, is a distinguished retired
military officer of the highest order and candidate
to become the Democratic Party nominee for president
of the USA.
Clark ranked number one in his graduating class at the
United States Military Academy, West Point. He holds
a master's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics
from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
He rose to the rank of four-star general by proving
his worth in numerous staff and command positions. From
1997 to 2000 Gen. Clark was the Supreme Allied Commander
of NATO and Commander in Chief of the United States
European Command. He commanded NATO's first major combat
action which saved 1.5 million Albanians from ethnic
cleansing in Kosovo.
He has received honorary knighthoods from the British
and Dutch governments and was made commander of the
French Legion of Honor. In 2000, Clark was awarded the
Presidential Medal of Freedom, this nation's highest
civilian honor.
In the private sector he is CEO of Wesley K. Clark &
Associates, a strategic advisory and consulting firm.
This is the man of integrity, honor, and credibility
to reinstate our nation as a just and fair world leader.
This man has experience in international affairs. He
understands the seriousness of war and its consequences.
This man will see to it that all socio-economic sectors
in the country get a fair shake.
Wesley K. Clark may just be the man you are looking
for to find better solutions to our national and international
situation.
George W. Bush has pulled us into a quagmire of world
alienation, loss of credibility, and impending economic
chaos. He is guilty of making one bad decision after
another, and it is imperative that he is voted out of
the Presidency for exile to his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
This is not a paid political advertisement. This is
a plea for common sense decisions to put us back on
course for national and international success.
Now about Wal-Mart. . . .
Sam Walton must be squirming in his grave over the curtailment
of group health insurance benefits for Wal-Mart employees.
The current management of this gigantic, successful,
enormously profitable retail business has been reducing
their employee health insurance benefits little by little
and proudly states that it has saved 30 percent of its
health insurance cost. All of this at the expense of
-- who else -- the rank and file employees. I'll bet
ol' Sam would disinherit his Walton girls, worth $20.5
billion each according to Forbes, if he could somehow
talk to them.
Maybe some medium can arrange a séance with Sam
to help the thousands of employees who work hard to
create Wal-Mart's luscious profit.
