Streets of Laredo announces new
program coordinator & downtown office

The Streets of Laredo Urban Mall, Inc., has recently hired Cynthia García as its new program coordinator, and has recently opened its new office in downtown Laredo.
García, a graduate of Texas A & M International University, has extensive experience in marketing research and communications. She will direct her work from the newly opened Streets of Laredo downtown office located at 1219 Matamoros, Suite 503, in the Sames Moore Building.
"We are very excited in the selection of Cynthia Garcia as our program coordinator and we are delighted that the organization now has a presence in the downtown area," said Joe García, Streets of Laredo president. "The hiring of a full-time program coordinator who brings a wealth of experience to our organization, coupled with having a downtown office, is a mark of our commitment to the mission of downtown revitalization.
"Our office will promote downtown improvements, encourage participation by the private and public sectors, ensure continued funding for our revitalization plans, and promote business and economic opportunities in downtown Laredo," said García.
The Streets of Laredo sponsors the Mardi Gras-style "Jamboozie" held annually during the WBCA festivities. The organization is currently planning the upcoming "Jamboozie" which is anticipated to draw record crowds.
The mission of the Streets of Laredo Urban Mall, Inc., is to preserve and amplify the eclectic atmosphere of Laredo while developing it into an exciting place to shop, live, and work.
