Writers' League of Texas hosts 11th Annual Agents Conference
The Writers' League of Texas will host the 11th Annual Agents Conference Friday through Sunday, June 11-13, at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, 700 San Jacinto at 8th Street , in Austin .
Attendees will have the chance to meet face to face with a literary agent or editor in a one-on-one private consultation. This annual signature event includes the Friday and Saturday night receptions, two continental breakfasts and lunches, parking, plus numerous breakout sessions, such as "Agent & Author Relationship," "Writing True Crime," and "From Book to Screen."
Registration is $219 for Writers' League of Texas members, $264 for non-members.
The Agents Conference offers the most up to date information on the craft and business of writing regardless of genre or field of interest, including fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting, or forensics.
The deadline to register for a private consultation with an agent is Friday, May 28, 2004, and is limited to the first 250 registrants.
