Drop-off location announced for KLRN’s Blazing Gavels auction

The 36th Annual Great TV Auction Blazing Gavels, one of KLRN’s most well-known fund raising events, is set to air June 6-15.

Laredo area businesses and individuals interested in donating for the auction can drop off items at the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, in care of Valerie Tijerina.

Grouped items from Laredo will air on Blazing Gavels Saturday, June 8.

The Auction remains the oldest and best established of KLRN’s fund raising events and the most ambitious live television production staged annually in San Antonio. Donors have the opportunity to showcase their products or services before millions of buyers. Auction bidders will also be able to log onto our award-winning website, blazinggavels.com.

Proceeds from the auction support the operation of KLRN; the San Antonio-based public television station serving more than 2 million citizens of South Texas with more than 7,000 hours of locally produced and acquired high-quality programs.
