She lives in San Antonio and works as a freelance writer, manuscript editor, and adjunct creative writing instructor at Northwest Vista College and Our Lady of the Lake University.
The “Voices in the Monte” series is intended to provide an opportunity for students and the public to visit with local, regional, and national writers who share their personal vision of writing and finding their voice. The series encourages interaction between members of the university and local communities and visiting writers. It is made possible by funding provided by TAMIU and a Title V Grant.
