SCAN, Inc., receives Allstate grant
The Allstate Foundation recently awarded a $500 grant to the Webb County Community Coalition of Serving Children and Adolescents in Need (SCAN, Inc.) in recognition of local Allstate agent Marcus Moreno's volunteer efforts in the community.
The grant is part of Allstate's “Agency Hands in the Community” program. Allstate agents are recognized for outstanding commitment to community service with a $500 donation to the charitable organization where they volunteer. To qualify for the grant, agents must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community.
Allstate awarded a second grant of $2,000 to the PACT (Parents and Children Together) Program of SCAN, Inc. The program provides elementary school students with early drug prevention services.
