Businesses, individuals invited to donate item
For KLRN's Blazing Gavels TV Auction

KLRN-TV invites area businesses and individuals to donate items to be auctioned off during the 39th Annual Great TV Auction, Blazing Gavels.

Blazing Gavels will air on KLRN June 9-18. The auction remains the oldest and best established of KLRN's fundraising events and the most ambitious live television production staged annually in San Antonio . Blazing Gavels can be accessed online at www.blazinggavels.com.The KLRN auction offers viewers a chance to bid on and purchase more than 5,000 items and services donated during the live telecast. Donors have the opportunity to showcase their products or services before millions of buyers.

All donated items valued at $75 or more will be recognized on-air during the auction, with the value of the item determining the level of exposure the donor receives. Donations with higher dollar value will receive enhanced recognition, including a special link on the web site. For items valued at $1,500 or more, KLRN offers the donor inclusion in the Auction Buyer's Guide (a publication mailed to 12,000 buyers), a 30-second on-air video presentation highlighting the company and product over a three-day period with a minimum of two on-air video presentations daily and many verbal recaps by the auctioneer. At the $2,500 level, items will be featured for four days. At the $5,000 level, items will be featured during eight days of auction and receive additional pre-auction publicity.

Deadline for inclusion in the Auction Buyer's Guide is Friday, April 1.
