Dear Meg:

 

I wanted to take this opportunity to again thank you for the beautiful article that you wrote on my career in your January issue.

 

What a way to end 35 years with the U.S. government. I found out at the end of last year that so many people in Laredo really appreciate all of the volunteer work that so many of our citizens undertake to help others in need. I am extremely proud to be a member of this community and hope to achieve the dreams that I have for the future.
