Glory be! Our country's most respected scientific developers of death delivery systems have come up with a real dandy of a weapon to destroy property and people.
Massive Ordinance Aerial Bomb, AKA MOAB, is now with us, folks, and it has already been detonated to scare the Hell out of a multitude of Iraqi citizens. Saddam was in one of his palatial bunkers watching The Sopranos with Arabic sub-titles, feasting on dried goat eyes and sipping warm camel milk sweetened with honey. He didn't hear or feel a thing!
George and his cohorts are adamant on "Wanted - Saddam, Dead or Alive," no matter how many innocent Iraqi citizens and U.S. soldiers have to be killed. This insatiable desire to get Hussein at all costs is, in my opinion, the manifestation of George W. Bush's deep-seated psychosis.
This President of the U.S.A. is slowly but surely taking us down the tubes. Tens of thousands of jobless Americans, Dow Jones Industrial Average down to around 7300, treasury yields lowest in 44 years, corporate America sucking wind, our prominent allies gradually becoming alienated.
Instead of attending to these critical issues, Mr. Bush continues to walk around with a smile, issuing half-witted knee-jerk decisions on going to war 7,000 miles from our shores.
How in God's name does the current administration justify offering a rental payment of $15,000,000,000 to Turkey? The Turks are our friends? Yeah, sure!
Our current deficit is right at $300 billion, our Defense (defense?) Department and overall military expenses are astronomical. The military establishment takes money from the economy in exchange for protection. Generals are always looking for an increase in their budget to buy a new tank, airplane, bomb, or machine gun to kill people and destroy property with greater efficiency.
Yes, we need a military force, but runaway spending for weapons to kill has to be controlled.
George W. certainly hasn't shown the capability to control anything thus far.
