Jackie Justine Martinez and Carlos George Gonzalez, Jr., were united in matrimony Jan. 18 at the Canterbury Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe R. and Molly Martinez.
The groom is the son of Rosalinda Gonzalez and the late Carlos George Gonzalez, Sr., of Zapata.
Matrons of honor were Jo Ann Martinez (sister) and Jessica Justine Martinez (twin sister).
Danny Rodriguez, the groom's friend and roommate, was the best man.
Justin Joe Gonzalez, the couple's three-year-old son, served as ringbearer.
A reception was held at the Excalibur in Las Vegas.
The bride graduated from Texas A&M International University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher at Muller Elementary School.
The groom is employed with Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor.
A reception hosted by Jackie's parents and Carlos' mother was held in Laredo at the couple's home. In attendance were the immediate family, friends, and neighbors.
