IBC opens in-store branch
at Wal-Mart Supercenter July 17

The International Bank of Commerce (IBC) opens Laredo's second Wal-Mart location with a grand opening celebration Wednesday, July 17, at 8 a.m. at the new Wal-Mart Supercenter at Loop 20 and Clark Blvd.
"We are looking forward to bringing our banking services to the neighborhoods of east Laredo," said Joe Palacios, IBC's in-store manager. "Accessiblity from Loop 20, Hwy. 59, and Hwy. 83 make this a really convenient location for all Laredoans who want to get their banking done while they shop. It is exciting to us to be bringing together the number one bank with the number one retailer," he continued, adding, "Customers who enjoyed the convenience and excellent service of our service at Albertson's will be happy to know that Natalie Hernandez is the manager of the IBC Wal Mart Supercenter location."
IBC's FreeBee as well as the IBC mascots accompanied by the IBC cheerleaders will be on hand. Guests will also have an opportunity to register for a chance to win cash in the IBC Money Machine. Local media will have an opportunity to support their favorite charity by stepping inside the Money Machine. IBC will match media collections for charity.
The new IBC Branch will offer full banking services and the same products available at the traditional branches. The second IBC Wal-Mart in-store joins the Plantation, Banquito North, both Mall facilities and the first Wal-Mart in-store to offer seven-day banking and extended hours.
