Ellese Jackson

Ellese Jackson will reign over this year's Stockman's Ball festivities on Friday, February 1, at the Laredo Civic Center Ballroom. Proceeds of the Stockman's Ball benefit the annual Border Olympics.
Ellese, the daughter of Elvira and Joe M. Jackson, Jr., is a senior at St. Augustine High School. An active community volunteer and a participant in school activities and sports, Ellese plays tennis, volleyball, and basketball. She will be presented as a debutante of the Society of Martha Washington in February. She has plans to attend college after graduating in May.
Ellese's father, Joe, has been a member of the Border Olympics for over 20 years.
The old style BYOB Stockman's Ball includes a free Happy Hour from 8 to 9 p.m. Tickets, which are available at Mike's Western Wear, cost $35 per couple or $105 for a table for three couples.
Mark Winston Kirk and Texas Unlimited will provide entertainment for the evening. Awards will be made for best dressed cowboy, cowgirl, and couple. A drawing and a special raffle are also on tap for the evening.
