Glen & Cindy Havelka baptize daughter Mia Isabel

 

Mia Isabel Havelka was baptized recently at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Portland , Texas , with Father Jerry Zurovetz officiating.

Mia is the daughter of Glen and Cindy Havelka (former Laredoan.)

Godparents are Mike and Patsy Schwab of San Antonio .

Mia is the granddaughter of Fred and Irene Havelka of Taft , Texas , and Laredoans Jack and Billie Gilpin and Carlos and Jane Garza.

The baptismal gown worn by Mia was made by her paternal great-grandmother for her daughter Irene and was also worn by her children and grandchildren.

A brunch at the Northshore Country Club followed the baptism.
