Professionalism and skill in the air, knowledgeable service on the net

If ever professionalism and skill counted, it was on a recent foray into the wild blue. Helicopter pilot Alex Leal of Río Grande Helicopters has all the right stuff, including an excellent topographical narrative, to make a recent flight a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience.
Fred Villarreal at Clark Hardware heard of the theft of major plumbing items from the Habitat for Humanity construction site at Riverhills Subdivision and was quick to generously replace those things. Clark Hardware has been a longstanding supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Laredo.
The well-organized crew of professionals at the WBCA offices have built an excellent organization, and it shows not only in what they have built as communication tools for the celebration, but also in their timely and unflappable manner of delivery. Hats off to ED Norma Rodriguez and to designer Rosie Coronado for some cutting edge artwork. If only the entirety of the celebration and its many participants took on this kind of timeliness.
Theresa Walters and Trent Stricker of Netscorp provided the MC with invaluable advice, technical support, and the platform to launch a new web page. It has not ever been explained so clearly or reliably. What they said is what happened.
The staff at the pharmacy at H.E.B. on Del Mar Blvd. were courteous and quick, helping to get the MC back on the road to recovery.
The Pastry House at 302 Hillside has delicate and delicious items for every occasion, from light pastries for merienda to beautiful fruit-topped cakes.
When in San Antonio and the craving for truly excellent tamales and barbacoa hits, there is no better spot than Adelita's on Fresno, just off IH-10 between downtown and Loop 410. But get there early -- it's first come, first served, and the doors close around noon.
