The Washington's Birthday Celebration Association has announced its first annual T-shirt Artwork Contest for the 2003 106th Celebration promotional T-shirt.

The contest is open to all local talent in the Laredo-Webb County area ages 14 and older.

The artist with the winning entry will receive a cash prize of $150. The selected artwork will receive local and state-wide media coverage, and will also be incorporated into some of the WBCA's souvenirs.

Entry forms must accompany artwork, and are available at the WBCA office at 1819 E. Hillside Rd. To receive a form by mail, or for guidelines and other information, call (956) 722-0589.

All artwork must be submitted by 5 p.m., Friday, May 17 at the WBCA office.
