Plan the week of May 9-15 for the Webb County Heritage Foundation’s first-ever “Dining Under Seven Flags” Restaurant Week.

View menus for the delicious offerings of some of the City’s top tier restaurants and purchase tickets in advance at www.webbheritage.org. Tickets are not available at participating restaurants. The operating hours of restaurants and take-out options are also listed on the WCHF website.

“If you take a few minutes to plan your week, it will make your ticket purchase very easy and possibly more affordable,” said Margarita Araiza, executive director of the Heritage Foundation. “Shoppers may find that their best buy is one of our two package deals – the “Seven Flags, Seven Meals” package, and the “Taste Our History” package.

Restaurants participating in the first-ever Laredo Restaurant Week are Border Foundry, Trattoria Mia, El Meson de San Agustín, The Tack Room, Burger Bar inside Old No. 2, Emperor Garden Asian Bistro, La India Packing Co. and Tasting Room, El Capataz, Tabernilla, 550 Pizzeria, Lolitas Bistro, and Palenque Grill on Loop 20 and on San Bernardo.

Tickets for “Dining Under Seven Flags” Restaurant Week can also be purchased at the Heritage Foundation office at 500 Flores Avenue, or at the center court of Mall del Norte week-ends on April 24, 25, and May 1, 2, and 8.

The Webb County Heritage Foundation presents “Dining Under Seven Flags” Restaurant Week as an alternative to its traditional Founders Day Celebration. May 15 marks the 266th anniversary of the founding of Laredo by Tomás Sánchez in 1755.

The WCHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to historic preservation, heritage education, and heritage tourism. It is the only organization that annually hosts a Founders Day Celebration. This year, the Foundation is urging curious audiences to “Taste Our History”. The border region has deep culinary traditions and talents, and this celebration encourages support of the restaurant industry and local historic preservation.
