Second Saturday market set at Las Bodegas de José

New Vision Community Church, a congregation whose members grow produce, bake bread, make jams and jellies, and sell sewn goods, invites other growers, artisans, and crafters to their outdoor market every second Saturday on the church grounds at 3119 Meadow.

The next market is April 8.

The market is free to local vendors who want to sell their goods. According to organizers of the event, the high second Saturday traffic at the church’s food store, Las Bodegas de José, is a good draw for shoppers to come into the market area.

Pastor Lucy de Leon said the market promotes the ministry’s production of homegrown products. “There is plenty of room for other vendors, and we invite them to come to this high traffic event. Non-profit and informational booths are very welcome,” she said.

To register as a vendor and to get a copy of requirements, call Luis or Lucy de Leon at (956) 712-0655.
