Bo De Peña

Laredoan Bo de Peña’s music and beautiful lyrics will fill the honey-hued ambience of the old sandstone walls of Gallery 201 on April 29 from 8 p.m. until midnight.

De Peña’s Americana folk sound, which is rooted in blues, rock, country, and the influences of the borderlands — coupled with original lyrics and a voice laden with expression — promise an evening of entertainment and a look at a gifted, hardworking musical craftsman.

He will be performing with mandolin player Colleen Michelle Miller at the 201. Miller is a new face in the Texas country and bluegrass scene. De Peña produced her recently released single “Lonesome Wind Blues,” which is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYsokJ4MKA0

DePeña performs at the 201 on the Texas leg of his current tour through his home state, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.

The doors of the 201 will open at 8 p.m. and the performance begins at 9. Setups will be available for BYOB refreshments. There is a $10 cover for the evening.

Gallery 201 is at 513 San Bernardo in downtown Laredo.
